The Hoka Speedgoat 7 GTX is a women's trail running shoe with an EVA midsole, a Vibram Megagrip outsole and a Ripstop upper.
It suits trail running and technical hiking off-road, with neutral support.
Product Highlights
- Weight: 460g in women's size 8.5. Less weight saves energy every stride.
- Heel drop: 5mm. Moderate, for an easy heel-to-toe transition.
- Stack height: 37mm heel. More foam cushions long distances.
- Midsole foam: Supercritical EVA midsole returns more energy than the Speedgoat 6.
- Outsole: Vibram Megagrip with aggressive lugs. Grips loose, muddy ground.
- Upper: Ripstop, non-stretch build. Locks your foot in place on trails.
- Waterproofing: GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane. Keeps your feet dry.
- Heel collar: Reshaped to avoid Achilles irritation. Holds your heel on descents.
- Reflective trim: Keeps you visible in low light.
- Fit and sizing: Runs small and slightly narrow. Size up at least half a size.
