Sharp rock, loose gravel and a pack digging in? The adidas Terrex Swift R2 puts a full length boarded last underfoot, so stones don't press through. A ripstop upper with Thermoplastic Polyurethane overlays holds up to scuffs, and the mid height collar laces tight around your ankle.
Product Highlights
- Continental rubber outsole grips smooth wet rock and steep gravel, the same compound used in high performance car tyres
- Aggressive L shaped lugs run heel to toe and bite into sand, mud and loose dirt
- Underfoot, the boarded last stiffens the platform so your footing stays steady when you're carrying weight
- Rain stays out thanks to Gore-Tex, while the mesh lining keeps air moving around your foot
Best For
- Multi-day backpacking over rocky, mixed terrain with a loaded pack
- Women who spend long, slow days on their feet rather than chasing a fast pace
- Wet mountain days on mossy, slippery rock
- Dusty, sandy trails where grit works its way into open mesh shoes
