Need to haul a week's load on a 29er without the rack flexing? The Topeak Explorer 29er 2.0 rear rack uses tubular 6061 T-6 hollow aluminium and braze on fittings for a rigid mount, and it's rated to 26 kg. A 26.5 cm mounting bracket comes in the box.
