Fancy staying clean when the trail turns to soup? The Topeak Defender XC1 clamps onto your fork lowers in injected high impact resistant plastic, with a flexible perimeter and a two-piece quick release attachment. It's sized for 36 to 45 mm fork legs and clears 26", 27.5" and 29" wheels.
Product Highlights
- Injected high impact resistant plastic shell shrugs off crash impacts without cracking
- Flexible perimeter takes knocks and flex without splitting, so the guard lasts on rough ground
- Two-piece build lets you swap a damaged section on its own rather than the whole guard
- Fork lower mounting sits the guard close to the tyre, cutting spray and ending toe clipping
- Automatic safety release ejects the guard if debris jams it, protecting your fork and your legs
Best For
- Wet weather trail riding on a full suspension mountain bike
- Daily mountain bike commutes through British drizzle
- Cross country and all mountain racing in mixed conditions
- Riders kitting out an electric mountain bike for year round mud
