When you think of Italy, you think of football icons. The Simeones. The Zanettis. The Ronaldos. Players who helped define eras, wearing kits that became just as iconic as the moments they created. Inspired by that legacy, Inter Milan’s latest Third Kit blends history with innovation — adapting the past for a new generation, and creating the stage for future stars to represent the badge.
When Nike goes digging through the archive, it rarely misses, and this one is no exception. Inter's 26/27 third kit nods to the iconic grey and blue of the 90s, but owns the pitch with a fresh design of its own, echoing that look without simply copying it.
The design brings style, retro and modernism together. An iron-ore base melts across most of the shirt to capture the nostalgia, while a new tonal jacquard pattern keeps it relevant for a new era.
The 90s palette carries through, with the grey complemented by hints of blue all the way through the kit. The blue is most noticeable around the collar and the Inter badge, small details that keep the original's DNA alive. Using what made the original so memorable, but adapting it for the times, is what makes this one its own.
But that’s not all. Nike also found room for extra detail. A speed yellow swoosh stands proud on top of Aero-FIT cooling material so the shirt works as hard as it looks.
