Secure grip on your carbon components comes from chemistry here, not grit, as Motorex Carbon Paste builds friction under clamping pressure through a particle-free formula. It's suitable for carbon-on-carbon and carbon-on-aluminium interfaces, including seatposts, stems and saddle rails. The integrated brush applies thin, controlled coats straight from the jar.
Product Highlights
- Particle-free formula leaves glossy carbon finishes completely unmarked
- Lets you lower tightening torque without component slippage, cutting the risk of crushing lightweight parts
- Corrosion protection stops joints seizing, so you can strip and reassemble parts more easily
- Reduces creaking between carbon and aluminium contact points for a quieter ride
- Works on resin and fibre at carbon joints without degrading either
Best For
- Home mechanics servicing their own carbon road or gravel bikes
- Fitting a carbon seatpost where slipping is a concern
- Workshop technicians running frequent builds and component swaps on customers' bikes
