Built for long gravel days and steep climbs, the Abus Taipan keeps your head cool with 18 vents linked by internal Forced Air Cooling channels. A polycarbonate shell wraps the lower edge and fuses to an expanded polystyrene core, while the Zoom Spin dial tunes the fit. At 295 g (Large), it's light enough to forget.
Product Highlights
- Front Eyewear Port holds your sunglasses securely while you ride
- Ponytail Fit opening in the height-adjustable cradle makes room for buns or braids
- Acti Cage reinforcement keeps the shell stable around larger vents
- Flow Straps cut drag and wind noise on longer rides
- Reflector sticker and optional magnetic rear light (sold separately) keep you visible in the dark
- Removable pads wash by hand or swap out when needed
Best For
- Sunrise gravel rides and after-work sessions once the tarmac ends
